The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall with some minor scuffs and scratches consistent with age, use, and storage, some very minor wear to the engraved monograms, those with monograms also with retailers mark for Le Trianon, those unengraved with maker's mark only and with no evidence of previous or removed engraving, the spoons overall with some very minor wear to the edges of the bowls, the three unengraved coffee spoons with gilt bowls, the forks overall with some tines not quite straight and even and with some wear to the end tines, the dinner, luncheon, and fruit knives with hollow handles and stainless steel blades, most blades marked INOXIDABLE below a fleur-de-lis, ten of the fruit knives with blades marked INOX in a lozenge, the unengraved fruit knife with a slightly larger serrated blade, the two-piece carving set also with hollow handles and stainless steel blade and tines, the fork tines marked INOXIDABLE in an oval and the knife blade marked VIA DE GESSE / MADRID / INOXIDABLE, overall good condition.
